WALT use conjunctions to join ideas to make compound sentences. (more interesting)

FANBOYS (acronym to remember conjunctions)
For and nor but or yet so

A pig. A cow.
An apple. An Orange.
I rode to the shop. I fell off my bike on the way.
He’s seventy-two.  He still swims.
She likes fried rice.  Dinner on Friday.
Sam doesn’t like fried rice. Kate doesn’t either.
They smashed the window. They ran away.

Extension After, although, since, until, whether, whenever, provided though.

  1. Wow Tu'u, this is a great piece of learning and shows that you can use connectives really well. I like the fact that you have used colour to highlight them. Be careful with your colours as some were hard to read. Great job.
